GENERAL
The PJGT's PANCAKE HOUSE Champions League is played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, the USGA , and the Local Rules as approved by The PJGT Tournament Committee. These Local Rules are made available to all players via this website.

TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE
The PJGT Tournament Committee consists of the following:
- The PJGT Commissioner
- The PJGT Tournament Director
- The Chairman of The PJGT - PhilJunGolfTOUR
- The President & CEO of The PJGT - PhilJunGolfTOUR

QUORUM
A quorum shall consist of any two members of The PJGT Tournament Committee.

OFFICIALS
All PJGT Officials, i.e. PJGT Management, Officials and Marshalls can be identified by their ARMBANDS, and may be approached for clarifications.

ELIGIBILITY
The PJGT PANCAKE HOUSE Champions League is open to
- all Filipino and international junior golfers, who have not reached their 18th birthday on the last day of the season (March 31) and,
- all Filipino and international YAD - Young Amateur Division players for age 18-21, and who:
- must conform in all respects to the Rules of Amateur Status as laid down by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews,
- have a USGA Handicap Index or another handicap accepted by The PJGT Tournament Committe.
Applicants are required to attach / fax their birth certificate with their application / registration.

SIZE of FIELD
The fields are limited to 60 - 120 players, depending on the stipulation of the designated PJGT Golf Club Partner. Early registration is recommended to avoid disappointment. Please note, The PJGT Tournament Committee has the right to finalize the number of players for each PJGT PANCAKE HOUSE Champions League Tournament.

CLASSES, DIVISIONS
Individual Competition
Classes A, B, C, D, E, F and YAD - Young Amateur Division
Boys & Girls, Class A - age 15-17
Boys & Girls, Class B - age 13-14
Boys & Girls, Class C - age 11-12
Boys & Girls, Class D - age 9-10 (must take cart)
Boys & Girls, Class E - age 7-8 (must take cart)
Boys & Girls, Class F - age 5-6 (must take cart)
Men & Women, YAD - Young Amateur Division - age 18-21 (only with special announcement!)

FORMAT
36 holes stroke play for Boys and Girls for All Classes.
The PJGT Tournament Committee may cancel any round or rounds in the event of conditions or circumstances, which make playing 36 holes impracticable.

SCORING (for Classes D, E & F only)
A maximum score of 9 will apply to classes D, E & F. Upon reaching a score of 9, players are required to pick their balls and markers will register a score of 9 on the particular player's scorecard.

Men YAD - Young Amateur Division - Gold Tee
Boys Class A - Gold Tee
Women YAD - Young Amateur Division - Blue Tee
Boys Class B - Blue Tee
Girls Class A - Blue Tee
Girls Class B - White Tee
Boys Class C - White Tee
Girls Class C - Red Tee
Boys & Girls Class D - Purple Tee

ENTRY FEE
Tournament fees for The PANCAKE HOUSE Champions League will be decided on a case by case basis as each tournament and sponsor is finalized.
Entry fees for the YAD - Young Amateur Division are indicated on the application / registration form.

TEE-TIMES
Tee-times will be announced through The PJGT's BLUEGOLF Scoring Console. The PJGT does not entertain requests for special Tee-times or flight assignments.

TEE-OFF
PJGT players must report to the STARTER at their designated tee-off hole at least 10 (ten) MINUTES prior to TEE-OFF!
If a player reports after his / her tee-off time, but within 5 (five) MINUTES, the penalty is 2 STROKES!
If a player reports more than 5 (five) MINUTES after his / her tee-off time, the penalty is DISQUALIFICATION!

TIES
In the event of a tie for Class Champion and Over-all Champion, the PJGT Tournament Director will conduct a sudden-death play-off. All runner-up places will be decided based on Count-back System.

EQUIPMENT
All PJGT players must observe guidelines of the NON-CONFORMING LISTS for golf clubs. Information is available under Tournament Information > Non-Conforming Lists.

GOLF BALLS
Only golf balls, which are listed in the latest R&A list of conforming golf balls, may be used. The PJGT recommends use of NIKE golf balls.

RANGE FINDERS
The PJGT permits the use of "Range Finders" and "GPS Devices" to measure distances only. Devices capable of measuring slope ratios are not permitted.

CADDIES
Players in YAD - Young Amateur Division, Boys & Girls in Classes A, B & C MUST take a caddie & caddie's trolley. Caddie fee is set at P500 per player.

PERSONALIZED CADDIE VEST
The PJGT provides "personalized caddie vests" with the name of the member on the back of the vest. Vests are available at PhP600,- thru the PJGT Admin Office at 02.807.8903. The vest remains the property of each player and should be collected from the caddie after each game.

GOLF CARTS
Boys & Girls in Classes D, E & F MUST use a golf cart with only 2 (two) players to 1 (one) golf cart. The golf cart MUST be driven by a caddie.
* Golf carts are available at P450/player with 2 players/cart.

LIABILITY, INSURANCE
Parents are requested to conclude insurance coverage for their JunGolfers. The PJGT & GmaxSPORTS cannot be held liable for any accidents. Some golf clubs implement compulsory insurance for players. Charges are for the personal account of players/parents.

GALLERY
Galleries are most welcome during all PJGT Tournaments. However, galleries must observe the following rules:
- Galleries shall not exchange any communication with a player, including at tee houses and during washroom breaks!
- Galleries are strictly confined to the cart path! Golf carts may be used on your personal account.
- Galleries shall only watch the game!
- Galleries shall keep a distance of not less than 30 meters from ALL players!
- Galleries may pass drinks / food to the player ONLY through the caddie! During the exchange, galleries must not advise the caddie on any part of the game of the player!
PENALTY: Disqualification as Gallery
IMPORTANT: Please note some PJGT Golf Club Partners may charge a fee for galleries as well as impose the use of a golf cart!

PRACTICE
Registered PJGT members may play practice rounds at the PJGT designated Golf Club on their own account. JunGolf discounts may be extended by some golf clubs upon presentation of your JunGolf ID.

DRESS CODE
The PJGT implements a STRICT DRESS CODE.
- Denim wear including jeans is not permitted.
- Swimm wear is not permitted.
- Athletic attire including tracksuits and shorts, are not permitted.
- T-shirts are not permitted.
- Sandals are not permitted.
- Footwear must be worn at all times.
- Footwear should not be changed in public.
- The rules of the designated golf club must be observed re. spikes.

MARKERS, SCORECARDS
Cross-scoring is compulsory for all Classes. Each player is responsible for double-checking the correctness of his / her score and for signing his / her scorecard at "Contestant's Signature" prior to submitting the scorecard at "The PJGT Scoring TENT". Each player's scorecard must be certified correct by the "Designated Marker" in the flite, who must signify his / her agreement by signing at "Marker's Signature" on the scorecard.
A scorecard is deemed to have been submitted once the player / contestant steps out of The PJGT Scoring Tent. All players must submit their duly signed scorecards within 15 (fifteen) minutes of holing out on the last hole of play.

NO SMOKING
Smoking is strictly prohibited for players during any tournament.

Galleries are encouraged to set an exemplary model for our JunGolfers and are requested NOT to smoke on the course.

MOBILE PHONES
Mobile telephones / cell phones are not allowed to be used anywhere on the golf course. Players must TURN OFF their mobile phone prior to tee-off.

UNBECOMING CONDUCT
The PJGT Tournament Committee may impose a penalty of disqualification for improper conduct, such as swearing and throwing of golf clubs as well as other infractions of the general Rules of Golf. Golf is a gentlemen's game and all players and galleries are required to observe such.

WITHDRAWAL
The PJGT Tournament Committee may require a player to withdraw from a PJGT Tournament if it is felt the player lacks a basic understanding of the Rules of Golf. This includes golf etiquette and the required golfing standard.

CANCELLATION, POSTPONEMENT
Tournament / Registration Fees are non-refundable after the registration deadline has passed and will not be credited to future tournaments. If a cancellation is completed before the registration deadline, a handling charge of PhP500/player will be deducted from the tournament / registration. The balance will be credited to future tournaments.
Acts of God, such as typhoons, earthquakes, floods or heavy rains may require the cancellation or postponement of a PJGT event. In such cases, tournament fees will be credited to future PJGT events.
In such instances, The PJGT regrets any inconvenience caused to traveling JunGolfers and parents. By registering for a PJGT tournament, JunGolfers and parents expressly agree that The PJGT cannot be held liable for travel expenses incurred in view of a cancelled / postponed PJGT event. It is the responsibility of JunGolfers and parents to regularly check The PJGT website and their personal email for announcements and updates.

AGREEMENT
By registering in any PJGT tournament, player and parent agree to abide by the foregoing PJGT CONDITIONS of PLAY.
