Here again is another typical pilipino style of destroying an excellent organization as what you have founded.  It is so depressing for JGFP to do that! You have announced the schedule much earlier, have informed them, the least they can do is to compliment the schedules of what they also have, so that our jungolfers can enjoy the benefits of 2 working organizations serving the welfare of the jungolfers. Who are the losers? Again, the jungolfers!

The PJGT regrets to announce that its appeal with the JGFP for the reinstatement of its long-standing 36-hole 2-day weekend tournament schedule, has been rejected. The "last weekend of the month schedule" had been coordinated and agreed by Mr. Gerardo Handog, Chairman of the JGFP.

The PJGT had also done its part in submitting to Mr. Tabuena and the JGFP its schedules for the 2010-2011 School Season, in the hope that the JGFP, The PJGT, TJGL and VISMIN region will have a well coordinated tournament calendar and continue to complement each other. The coordination of schedules through the JGFP, had been requested by Mr. Tabuena during his Alta Vista meeting with VISMIN representatives in late 2009.

During the recent Junior Golf Challenge at Alta Vista Golf & Country Club in Cebu, Luigi Tabuena, the newly appointed president of the Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines, briefed representatives of the VISMIN regions on his vision for junior golf.

The PhilJunGolfTOUR warmly congratulates Luigi Tabuena on his appointment as well as the 2009/2010 Board of the JGFP. Golf representatives in VISMIN and all over the archipelago carry high hopes that Mr. Tabuena's expertise and the support he enjoys on the JGFP Board of Directors, will enable him to inject fresh impetus in our national organization.
